Mushroom Productions has been producing events since 1994, with offices in Cape Town and Johannesburg and productions across the continent. In Cape Town that has meant transforming the Grand Parade into a cinematic launch arena for the Jetour T-Series and producing Ultra Music Festival South Africa's Cape Town editions. Our Cape Town team plans, engineers and runs productions with local crews, local suppliers and a working knowledge of the city's venues and permit processes.

Yes. Mushroom Productions has offices in Cape Town and Johannesburg, and produces events across the Western Cape, South Africa and the rest of the continent.
Which Cape Town venues do you work in?
We produce in convention centres, hotels, public spaces and outdoor sites across Cape Town and the Western Cape, including the Grand Parade, where we launched the Jetour T-Series against the backdrop of Table Mountain.
How far in advance should I book event production in Cape Town?
For outdoor events, festivals and heritage or public sites, start 9 to 12 months ahead — permits and peak-season dates move fast. Conferences and corporate events in established venues can work on around six months.
Do you only produce events in Cape Town?
No. Our Cape Town team works across the Western Cape and South Africa, and we produce events across Africa, from Lagos to Kigali.
