Proven Across Africa. Cape Town is where South Africa puts on a show for the world. International launches, festivals, conferences and broadcast productions all compete for the same venues, crews and peak-season dates. Mushroom Productions has been producing events since 1994, with offices in Cape Town and Johannesburg and productions across the continent. In Cape Town that has meant transforming the Grand Parade into a cinematic launch arena for the Jetour T-Series and producing Ultra Music Festival South Africa's Cape Town editions. Our Cape Town team plans, engineers and runs productions with local crews, local suppliers and a working knowledge of the city's venues and permit processes. We design around them from day one. See our venue sourcing and design (https://mushroom.co.za/venues) work. ### Local Crew & Suppliers Cape Town's film and events industries share a deep pool of technical crew and specialist suppliers. Working locally keeps freight costs, travel and risk down. ### Wind & Weather Planning The south-easter can shut down an outdoor build in an afternoon. Wind ratings, ballast plans and weather hold points are engineered into every outdoor Cape Town production we run. ### Approvals & Compliance Public-space events in Cape Town run through the City's events permit process alongside SAPS and national safety legislation. We prepare the technical documentation and work alongside your safety officer. Read our guide to event safety compliance in South Africa (https://mushroom.co.za/blog/event-safety-compliance-south-africa-sasrea). ### Logistics & Load-In Heritage sites, mountain roads and peak-season traffic all shape a Cape Town load-in. We plan access routes, realistic build schedules and audience transport from the start.
