Working with One-eyed Jack, the goal was to craft a memorable and magical event for VW dealers — one that elevated a corporate awards ceremony into a true brand moment. ● Section 02 / Approach ## Awards Show Strategy & Creative Direction The core objective was to "make magic happen," inspired by the famous magician Dynamo. The strategy focused on incorporating advanced technical innovation and engaging entertainment. - 01 Concept development and creative roll-out. - 02 Venue management, décor and catering. - 03 Staffing, guest speakers and entertainment. - 04 Car displays, staging, AV, sound and lighting. - 05 Logistics across the full ceremony footprint. ● Section 03 / Outcome ## VW Grand Prix Awards Results - 01 A "magical" car reveal was executed, creating a stunning visual moment for attendees. - 02 Entertainment was a major highlight — comedians Nik Rabinowitz and Lalla Hirayama as emcees, performances by Shoowop Shop and Swing City, and mentalist Gilan Gork as guest speaker. - 03 High-tech elements were integrated throughout the venue: Geo Mapping was used on every table, and the event hall was surrounded by 270° screens displaying dynamic graphics and video. ● In Closing Meredith Kelly, head of marketing for Volkswagen South Africa, praised the collaboration: > “One-Eyed Jack And Mushroom Productions Did A Fantastic Job.
